Yoga is more than a thousand-year-old globally acknowledged practice with roots from Southern Asia and is well known for its mental, physical, and emotional health benefits. It has gained more popularity in the last one year with people confined at home due to lockdowns and gyms closing. To fuel yoga enthusiasts with the science backed knowledge, Institute of Nutrition and Fitness Sciences (INFS), the largest online fitness institute, announces the launch of INFS Yoga Exercises for Beginners course, with admissions commencing on the website from 7th August 2021.

Through this course, students will get a chance to learn more than fifty plus asanas at beginners as well as advanced levels. The course will make students self-sufficient to practice yoga at the comfort of their homes. The duration of the certification course is four weeks and anyone who is 12 years and above is eligible. INFS will be providing special offers to the students who enrol for this course in the month of August.

Commenting on the announcement, Jyoti Dabas, Founder and CEO, INFS, said, “At INFS, we strive to match global standards in the fitness education industry and provide quality education to all. The new Yoga Exercises for Beginners course is a testimonial of the hard work that our faculty is doing to bring democratised fitness education in the country.”

Harsha Joshi, Program Director, INFS, said, “The Yoga Exercises for Beginners course will enable students to plan their own yoga workout and will also educate them about the various health benefits of each asana. The curriculum of the course is assembled by experts in yoga and the course will be taught by an experienced gold medallist instructor. The aim of launching this course is to encourage students to choose a healthy lifestyle and remain fit.”
